Environmental campaign in the areas of El PolÃgono and La Arena in Gijón for EMULSA’s pay-as-you-throw pilot project.
The coordination of the family participation phase of this campaign in Gijón was carried out over several months. An information and communication campaign was developed together with the recruitment of volunteers from the neighborhoods of El Polígono and La Arena, to participate in this pilot project in which the possible future implementation of a payment for waste generation in Gijón was evaluated. It was completed with the development of tents and information points for sensitization, awareness and recruitment in these neighborhoods.
