TAXUS MEDIO AMBIENTE is one of the 13 companies in Oviedo that are carrying out research projects with the help of IDEPA. Our project is focused on the detection of invasive species by DNA in freshwater bodies. In this way, invasive species in rivers, lakes, and reservoirs can be identified and controlled quickly, efficiently, and at low cost. There are 126 invasive alien species already identified and established in aquatic systems of the Iberian Peninsula.
